Lingerie Whether it is the 1850's or the 1950's elegant women have always had pretty underclothes. Better still, there have always been photographers who delight in the sensuousness of silk stockings, the line of a tight laced corset or the subtle glimpse of the forbidden ground between stocking top and skirt. In my collections I have over 10,000 beautiful pictures of women delicately undressed. Here are a few of Betty Page. I love the look of full fashioned stockings and satin slips. I relish the look of bashfulness that the fifties girls wore as they slipped off their dresses. For me, retro and vintage lingerie is a passion and an inspiration for my own wardrobe and pictures. The poses and the lovely expressions of the girls who knew they were naughty showing off their dainties and did it anyway. Innocence lost I say. |
